Veins and Arteries in Circulatory System:
Vein and arteries play an inseparable role in circulatory system in which these two essential parts of our body carry the blood flow along with oxygen, essential nutrients, hormones, and other gases to the different body parts.
During this circulatory process cardiovascular part, pulmonary segment, and systemic section work altogether and maintain a healthy blood flow rate all the time.

When the blood gets back from the right side of the heart with deoxygenated quality, they remove all the wastes from our body tissues as well.
So, if, look closely, the veins and arteries are two pedestals of this circulatory system, while the left ventricle and left atrium of our heart work as the pumping chamber, accordingly the right-sided vessels work for the detoxification along with getting back deoxygenated blood into the heart.
Functions of Arteries:
The main functions of arteries are providing needed supplies to the blood cells and removing the waste products from our system.
The functioning speed depends on the heart pumping rate in a human being and the exact proportion of arteries also varied from human to human.
That’s why the size of a human artery could be a large aorta found in the chest to tiny capillaries detected in the lungs. No matter how big or small artery look, it is always made up with three connective tissue layers with the capacity of the perfect stretch.
